J’hayber Works: safety and corporate design in footwear and clothing for work

The new J’hayber 2006/2007 catalogs for footwear and clothing for work not only incorporate new references, but have also integrated the designs for footwear and clothing in search of an overall corporate image for companies. For this they have created models of safety footwear with a similar aesthetic to that of the work-wear clothing.
The firm’s work philosophy is to give each professional sector the most appropriate footwear. The J’hayber Works articles are systematically testes as far as exceeding the most extreme conditions. The new catalog for work footwear is one of the company’s proposals. It is segmented into eight differentiated lines: ‘Confort Plus’, ‘Labor Exclusive’, ‘Composite X-Trem’, White Line for Safety, Trekking Line, White Line for Professional Use, Professional Use and Clogs. In the design and manufacture of these products has benefited from the support of the Valencia Biomechanics Institute (IBV and the Technological Institute for Footwear and Related Industries (INESCOP), whose collaboration has made possible the making of footwear that is ever more ergonomic, comfortable and safe for the worker.
The offer includes new references in keeping with the design of the new clothing range, ‘Full Equip’. The models are Abeto, Álamo, Lisboa and Roble, in shades similar to those of the textiles, with the aim of achieving a corporate aesthetic. A notable new feature is the new J’habflex insole with anti-pierce properties, non-metallic high resistance compound fabric to comply with all the standards. Incorporated into the ‘Composite X-Trem’ range (Lisboa and Electric models), it gives the footwear greater flexibility, lightness and protection. This system joins with the traditional protection elements of the range, like the stabilizer on the sole to avoid twists and sprains, the so-called ‘point flex system’, habitually used in sports footwear to avoid injuries.
The use of a composite toe-cap can also be highlighted, keeping the shoe lightweight while maintaining the level of protection. The range is distinguished for its resistance to hydrocarbons and oil, non-slip sole, antistatic properties, abrasion-proof sole, as well as the use of a last specifically researched for the cushioning of blows to the heel and on the instep.

Worker comfort and convenience is paramount. For that J’hyber Works has extended its ‘Confort Plus’ line, whose chief characteristic is the incorporation of a broad last and the ‘Shock Absorb’ cushioning system, to reduce the impacts of the heel against the surfaces and based on a system of micro-bubbles in the sole that provide excellent cushioning at each step. ‘Estilo’, the range’s new reference added to the footwear catalog, has a more attractive design. The ‘Tormenta’ model completes this line, specific for extreme temperatures: the ‘Outlast’ fabric, known as a thermal regulator, is used in making it.
‘Full Equip’ is the new clothing range from J’hayber Works, which as placed the emphasis on aesthetic integration: clothing and footwear in complementary colors and designs. The shoes Roble, Abeto, Álamo and Lisboa complement a line of clothing made up of vests, parkas, trousers… garments compatible with any working situation and climatic condition. As leaders for winter we highlight the ‘Nepal’ parka, with inner windcheater, ideal for protection against the cold, wind and rain, and the ‘Ranger’ trousers. These have reinforced seat for greater durability, are elastic and adjustable with a cord at the waist. Moreover an slit has been added to insert knee protectors. This outfit is complemented with the ‘Rider’ vest and ‘Marshall’ jacket, conceived for winter work. Protection and aesthetic are the attributes of the collection, values greatly appreciated by companies when it comes to equipping their workers. The fabrics are 100% cotton or a polyester/cotton combination, ideal for tough jobs and in dirty environments, being more hardwearing and rip-resistant.
