Ergocontrol’s general catalog

Ergocontrol, a company in the Cime Tres group, based in Ajalvir (Madrid) and devoted to the commercialization of industrial safety and hygiene products, has presented a comprehensive catalog of the firm’s offer in carpets for general use and industrial carpets.
The catalog, which has 24 pages plus cover, is characterized by its careful production, with a great profusion of graphic elements accompanying the abundant information that is included about the product.
The company’s aim is to offer its customers improved productivity and avoidance of accidents and time off work. For that they have an offer which is found divided into the following ranges:
- Carpets. The references are: Ultisol, Caillebotis, Picomat, Zone, Ultimat, Scraper Protex, Scraper Trio, Hygiene Pro, SuperNytex and Brasil.
- Logomat carpets. The products of this series are: Logomat Stamp, Logomat Injet, Vision Logomat and Rizo de Vinilo.
The products of these tow segments are intended for offices and entrances to buildings, especially if they had heavy traffic of persons.
- Hotel and catering. The carpets for this application are: SuperTop, ComfortTop, YogaFlex, Checker and ClipTop.
- Industry. The offer for industrial use includes the references: Airgo-Yoga Flex, Standby, Checker, ClipTop (closed), SuperTop, ClipTop (open), Antistatic, Insulating, as well as floorings for changing rooms, showers and various other floorings.
Together with the product presentation, the catalog educates about health at work, informing that “the problems industrial workers have in general when working standing up are aches and pains in the back, spinal problems, overload on the legs, poor circulation, swollen ankles, painful soles of the feet (fascitis)… Problems that are usually degenerative.” It also underlines the fact that “carpets are beneficial to the worker and the company. Ergonomic carpets – individual or modular-(do not require specialized fitting) reduce fatigue by 50% and improve back pains. Carpets induce micro-movements in the foot that make the muscles work, which avoids circulation problems and its consequences: aches in the feet, legs and back.”
From the offer for the hotel and catering sector we highlight the following models:
- Checker. A carpet made entirely of rubber, with a design that produces good grip and firmness. The edges are beveled to avoid tripping up. Easy to fit, it is available as an individual carpet or with joins for longer lengths. Height: 12mm, color: black-black/yellow.
- ClipTop (closed). A modular system of square carpet tiles that allow different designs and shapes to be formed. The high quality flexible rubber enriches the anit-fatigue properties. Accessories: edging strips or ramps. 100% rubber, non-perforated, height 15mm.
One of the star products for industrial applications is the reference Airgo-Yoga Flex, a carpet with a bubble construction of air pockets, ideal for inducing micro-movements in the feet, contributing to reduce fatigue in other parts of the body, like the legs and back.
Yoga Flex is made with a composition of natural rubber which has the advantage of elasticity to other materials (synthetic or recycled) used in the manufacture of anti-fatigue carpets. The design of Yoga Flex optimizes comfort, maintaining its properties unaltered with use and the passing of time. The advantages these carpets provide are insulation from cold or heat, while avoiding slips, a common cause of accidents.
Other carpets of undoubted interest in the industrial sector are:
- Antistatic (Apachestat). An anti-fatigue (ergonomic) carpet which, at the same time, dissipates static electricity (108 – 109 ohms). It is based on vinyl foam with a striated design for better grip. Height: 9mm, weight: 3kg/m2. It is complemented with accessories like the antistatic heel conductor for use with boots and shoes.
- Insulating carpet (plastic platform). This is an polyurethane insulating platform (17,000 – 32,000 volts, depending on the thickness) which constitutes a surface with a non-slip relief, soft and comfortable to the touch for the feet. It has 121 support points. Extremely resistant (detergents, chlorine, common acids, outdoors, UVA rays), easily installed. Heights: 25 and 55mm. Colors: gray, white and terracotta.
