Companies respond to Ferroforma’s leadership

“Response, in terms of numbers recorded, on the part of professionals belonging to the hardware, DIY and industrial supplies sector has been spectacular. The new position of Ferroforma in the fairs schedule shows it is a leader, for 650 companies have already booked their space for the next edition, and advance contracts confirm that this strategic change and our current presentation of novelties and products for the sector were positive initiatives”, states the press release issued by the Bilbao Exhibitions Centre (BEC).
Ferroforma, currently strengthened as a European and global fair, will open from March 7th to 10th, 2007.
Companies booking space come from many countries. Europeans make up 36%, with a significant share of American, German, Norwegian, French, British and Japanese participants.
Traditional products shown (machinery, locks, tools, cutting machines, elevators, pneumatic tools, etc) continue to grow in number while protection at work becomes one of the sectors revealing the highest growth rates. This is due to the positive response on the part of the industry and construction sectors that have turned this fair into a communications channel promoting growth and distribution, two major factors for suppliers of protection equipment.
Ferroforma will integrate the offer featured by Bricoforma (maintenance-related products), as a differentiated space within the global fair. Both spaces will join their synergies, and the main sectors will be organized in accordance to their level of representation. To date (October) the distribution of sectors is the following:
- Industrial supplies, construction: 28%
- Tools: 21%
- DIY, home supplies: 20%
- Locks: 8%
- Fixtures: 7%
- Machinery: 5%
- Utilities: 5%
- Protection at work: 4%
- Business equipment: 2%
